HON. RICHARD BRONI COMMISSIONED AND HANDED OVER 1No. 6UNIT CLASS ROOM BLOCK

The 1No 6 Units class room block was handed to the authorities of Municipal Education directorate at Dagbanbia in the Masaka Electoral Area.

The Municipal Chief Executive of East Gonja Municipality, Hon. Richard Broni, commissioned and handed over a 1No 6 Units class room block to the authorities of Municipal Education directorate on Friday 14th July 2023 at Dagbanbia in the Masaka Electoral Area.

The project has replaced the dilapidated structure and came at a time the people of the area needed it badly to solve their basic education needs.

The representative of the Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Inusah Gariba, expressed his happiness, seeing the beautiful edifice. He said that he was soo sad when he once visited the school on monitoring and saw the status of the old building some eight years ago. He used the opportunity and aprouded the Hon. MCE and the NPP government for the initiative. He advised the authorities of the school to carefully manage the financial resource of the school for transparency and accountability. On the other hand, he urged the community to play a critical role in running the affair of the school. The NPP Constituency Chairman suppoted the GES rep and stated that some communities in the Municipality were yening for the projects. He also admonished them to take their children education seriously.

The Chief of the community thanked the Hon. MCE and government for the project and pledged his support on the maintenance of the school. He apealed for teachers quaters and school feeding programme to the school.

The MCE, Hon. Richard Broni, thanked the chief and the people for their commitment to own the school and encourage them to enrol their children in school as that is the only way to eradicate poverty. He used the opportunity to inform the people of the area about government’s commitment to making education accessible to all Ghanaians.
