FARMERS DAY CELEBRATION AT KAFABA

Farmers day celebrations is an annual event instituted by the Government of Ghana to award farmers of this country for their outstanding efforts in working to feed the population. This year’s celebration is under the theme: “Delivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Accelerated Food Security and Resilience”. The years celebration took place at Kafaba, a farming community in the Municipality. the event was attended by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive and Staff of the Municipal Assembly, Service Commanders and Personnel, The Kpembe Traditional Council, Farmers, the Media and the general public. award were presented to deserving farmers who took home prizes ranging from motor king, motorbikes, tv sets, farm inputs and many more.
