General Assembly Meeting to Approve the 2026 Annual Action Plan and Composite Budgets
The East Gonja Municipal Assembly held its last General Assembly meeting for the year on Thursday, 30th October 2025 at the Conference Hall of the Municipal Assembly.
The meeting was held to approve the 2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP) and Composite budgets respectively.
The meeting was attended by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Assembly Members, Municipal Coordinating Director Heads of Departments and units.
The Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon. Issahaku Hafisu opened the meeting and called on the Hon. Members to take the development of their electoral areas seriously.
The Hon Municipal Chief Executive in delivering his sessional address, highlighted key developmental projects on-going in the Municipality, stressing that, sanitation was the topmost priority of his administration.
The meeting was attended by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Assembly Members, Municipal Coordinating Director Heads of Departments and units.
The Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon. Issahaku Hafisu opened the meeting and called on the Hon. Members to take the development of their electoral areas seriously.
The Hon Municipal Chief Executive Kasim Yazid Rabiu in delivering his sessional address, highlighted key developmental projects on-going across various sectors of the Municipality, stressing that, sanitation was the topmost priority of his administration. He urged Hon. Members to collaborate with Management of the Assembly to ensure the developmental needs of the people are met.
